Templates and broadcasts
Use Meta-approved templates for messages outside the customer-service window and consented marketing campaigns.
Template lifecycle
Create a template in CRM or sync it from Meta. It must be approved before use. The website sends an event key, and CRM selects the approved template.
A sent status means Meta accepted a request. Delivered and read arrive later through Meta webhooks.
Consent
Send marketing broadcasts only to contacts with recorded WhatsApp marketing opt-in. Utility messages must match the approved template and business event.
