Connect the WhatsApp Business number, verify the webhook, and prepare templates without exposing private credentials.
What the CRM needs
The CRM administrator configures the Meta access token, WhatsApp phone number ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID, Graph API version, and the chosen webhook verify token as private server environment variables.
The Meta Configuration screen receives the CRM webhook callback URL and the exact verify token. Never enter access tokens in a public website, flow message, documentation page, or chat screenshot.
Before customer testing
Subscribe the Meta app to WhatsApp webhook events, send a customer test message, confirm it appears in Inbox, and confirm delivery status later updates through the webhook.
